The Stage

You ever wake up only wishing that you hadn’t.

Trying to find a way to fight another day, not knowing what to do or say

Holding on to any glimpse of hope

Only to find you are running out of time like an artist or a poet without a rhyme

I welcome you to the stage.

The stage is a face that holds a play behind it.

Few people get to see this play

Most never want to see it another day

The Curtain which covers only god sees as he hovers.

Most family nor friends will ever see inside, and if they do they will tell you its something to hide.

But the show must go on says each day, not at all caring what it is you have to pay.

I welcome you to the stage

It is not certain how many of us will never get the chance to open up the curtain.
