Only human beings can fail,
Profit from their mistakes,
And then succeed.
Only the Lord always succeeds,
Never profits from mistakes,
Because He never fails.
It is easy to see
Why a human being
Would cast his lot with God,
But why would God
Bother with ever-failing,
Mistake-ridden humanity?
Because God never fails.
