“The stained footprints left on my heart remain forever as I try to continue this journey without you…
Where do I go from here is the question I ask
The heartbeat that once skipped for you is now knotted
The numbness my body had for you is now throbbing
I look at the past and all I envisioned was us
I look at the seeds that were grown and all I can see in them is us
Who knew the bloom we nourished and blossomed would vanish so quickly
As the dry and withered leaves easily flow through the air,
Who would have known they would be so easy to crumble from something grounded
For the root that they started from was manageable
The love we had was at heart of the plant,
For real love, I said, real love encourages natural growth
Real love resists the impossible by fertilizing and boosting health
Real love lasts a lifetime and has the capacity to maintain vitality
Too bad real love wasn’t within our stems.”

Most eloquently put, the feelings one goes thru as they continue on their journey without a loved one. Tears came to my eyes…just beautifully deep!

WOW! I love how you use the beauty & life cyle of a flower as a metaphor for love. I really enjoyed reading this. LOVE IT! 🙂

Nice quite moving
As always ma, brilliant. I love the metaphors, the passion, the realism, and the way you connected to where we all could relate. You are truly gifted Krystal! Keep doing your thing ma!
