Ignorance to Evil

If I must confess, it will be to you
That I reveal these secrets so long well
Hidden; then from you and the people too,
I must tell truth so dark, as if from hell
It came to me and took me over then,
So long ago when I gave in to it,
Never did I dream, so much would I sin
In this way, oh, the horrors I commit
Are so evil that I must not reveal
Of such things to a person such as thee
Who would wish ignorance of such a deal
As that of which we took to once be free
But now I think of whether I should die,
Or whether I should live to live this lie.
